The Taza Gallery and Coffee House

Located in the Adams County Government Center, the Gallery at Taza Coffee House features rotating exhibitions from emerging and established artists. We curate four shows per year that explore different perspectives and provide opportunities for Adams County residents to experience the arts in an unexpected space.

Current Exhibition: Homecoming

By Javier Flores

Artist Javier Flores’ exhibition, Homecoming, showcases his transformation as an artist over the course of his career. Having grown up in Brighton, Flores shares a mix of older works and brand-new pieces that serve as a return to his roots with a new perspective.

From printmaking, to painting, to drawing, Flores uses a variety of formats to connect imagery to language and explore identity in the form of culture, ecology, non-toxic masculinity, politics, temporality, loss, and ultimately, triumph.

Homecoming is on view at the Taza Gallery and Coffee House through September.
