Watch Out for Scam Tactics
The County is aware of fake invoices being sent via email to permit applicants with an attachment purporting to be an invoice requesting immediate payment through a wire transfer. This is a scam.
The Community and Economic Development Department (CEDD) only asks for and accepts payment through the ePermit Center. A legitimate email message from CEDD will be from a County email address (@adcogov.org or @adamscountyco.gov). Examine emails with links and attachments very closely before clicking on them.
If you have any questions about a payment due, please don’t hesitate to contact the One Stop Permitting Center telephone number: 720.523.6800.

Help Us Improve County Development & Zoning Standards
Do you live, work, or build in unincorporated Adams County? Help us improve the County’s development and zoning standards! The land use code guides how property is used and developed in unincorporated Adams County. It impacts housing, the environment, sustainability, landscaping, commercial and industrial activities, processes, governance, and more. The code is being updated to make it easier for the public to use, provide more flexibility, implement the Advancing Adams Comprehensive Plan (2022), and incorporate best practices and community feedback.
