What We Hold Dear
Paintings by artist Jenna Annunziato
Exhibition Date: June-August 2025
An What We Hold Dear, artist Jenna Annunziato explores the value and meaning we as humans attach to material objects. How do we choose which objects have value and which ones don’t? When do the items we once loved become meaningless? What com-pels us to project love and meaning on ordinary objects
Inspired by beloved trinkets from Adams County residents, these visually striking cut outs celebrate the ostensibly frivolous nature of the things we hold dear. Trinkets from the artist and on loan from the community were displayed outside Taza Gallery in artistic representation of nostalgia; paying homage to each revered item in the case.
