Adams County Parks, Open Space and Cultural Arts is excited to celebrate the United States’ 250th and Colorado’s 150th in 2026! Our community events are dedicated to celebrating the people of Adams County – those who call it home and those who made it their home. Save the date for these four community events in 2026!
Adams County Pride
Celebrate love and community at Adams County Pride! Free to attend and open to all, Adams County Pride is filled with heart, from live music and entertainment to immersive art experiences, food vendors, and community resources, the day will leave attendees filled with love for their community.

Stars & Stripes
Celebrate Independence Day with Adams County each year on the third of July at Riverdale Regional Park! This free event is open to all, and guests can enjoy food and beverage vendors, a free concert, and a fireworks display to end the night.
Adams County Fair
The 2026 Adams County Fair was one for the record books, with over 170,000 attendees gathering at the Adams County Fairgrounds over the five-day period. Fair food, free entertainment, 4-H shows, Open Class competitions, and live entertainment in the United Power Grandstand provide the perfect backdrop for family traditions, memories, and fun.
Did you know you can visit the Adams County Fair for free? Park and ride in our free off-site shuttles that drop guests directly at the entrance of the fairgrounds, bring non-alcoholic beverages and food from home, enjoy live bands and DJs in our free entertainment tent, and take in all of the free on-grounds entertainment for a day that won’t cost a dime!

Festival Latino
Celebrate the rich culture and vibrancy of Latino heritage with Adams County! This free, family-friendly event provides an unforgettable celebration filled with live music and entertainment, interactive art experiences, food, community resources, and more. Mark your calendars!

Welby Days
In partnership with Adams County, Welby Heritage Foundation hosts the historic fall harvest festival and farmer’s market & Car Show called Welby Days. The event includes local produce, fall flowers, Anythink Library bookmobile, local artist performances and classes, a car/tractor/motorcycle show, food, and fun.

Colorado Dragon Boat Regatta & Night Market
Join Colorado Dragon Boat for their annual Dragon Boat Regatta and Night Market held at Riverdale Regional Park. The event will feature dragon boat races, performances, food trucks, artists, and vendors to celebrate Colorado’s rich Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander heritages.
Vendors, performances, and food are inside the Waymire Dome, and Dragon Boat Races are at Mann-Nyholt Lake!
