Adams County Commissioners Recognize Good Neighbor Day

September 24th, 2025

During public hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 23, the Adams County Commissioners recognized Good Neighbor Day!

Our Office of Strategic Partnerships & Resilient Communities (SPARC) team honored the holiday by encouraging residents to host block parties or neighborhood gatherings throughout the month of September. They also partnered with Anythink Libraries to put together an e-zone at their Huron Street branch that promotes neighboring.

Bringing your neighbors together is a great idea all year round! If you want to get some momentum going in your neighborhood, apply for the Neighborhood Community Fund. This program offers mini grants to Adams County residents to support neighborhood events or initiatives.
