Proactive Removal
Prompt removal is one of the most effective ways to discourage repeat graffiti. Residents, businesses, and community organizations all play an important role in keeping our communities clean by removing graffiti when they are able and reporting graffiti that needs assistance.
If you’re unable to remove graffiti yourself, we’re here to help. The program provides free graffiti removal services in unincorporated Adams County and participating partner communities.
A signed Property Authorization Form from the property owner is required before work can begin on private property.
The program uses gray or tan paint or pressure washing, depending on the surface. If you would like us to match your property’s paint color, you may provide the paint.
Our goal is to respond within 48 hours whenever possible. Weather may affect our ability to remove graffiti. When temperatures are below 40°F or conditions are too wet, we may be unable to paint or pressure wash affected surfaces.
Any reports received during these conditions will be addressed as soon as weather permits.
Program Results
The program removes thousands of graffiti tags each year throughout unincorporated Adams County and participating partner communities.
