Street Seal Program
Project Overview
Adams County is performing pavement preservation work on several paved streets throughout the county. The project includes slurry seal and chip seal treatments, which help protect and extend the life of existing pavement.
Slurry Seal
A slurry seal is applied to help preserve and protect the existing pavement while providing a renewed driving surface. Roads selected for slurry seal treatment generally have low to moderate pavement distress and narrow cracks.
The slurry seal schedule below is tentative and subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen conditions.
- DAY 1: Tuesday August 25th – E 120th Ave.
- DAY 2: Wednesday August 26th – E 120th Ave.
- DAY 3: Thursday August 27th – E 120th Ave.
- DAY 4: Friday August 28th – Tower Rd.
- DAY 5: Saturday August 29th – Hayesmount Road.
- DAY 6: Monday August 31st – Finish Hayesmount Road.
- DAY 7: Tuesday September 1st – E 160th Ave.
- DAY 8: Wednesday September 2nd – Ivanhoe St, Ivy St, E 167th Ave, E 167th Place, Poplar Ct, Kearney Way, Eagle Shadow Ave, Oneida St, Poplar St, Poplar Ct.
- DAY 9: Thursday September 3rd – E 167th Ave, Newport Ct, Krameria Ct, Jasmine St, E 163rd Ave, Poplar St, Olive Way, E 162nd Ct.
- DAY 10: Friday September 4th – E 165th Place, Jasmine St, Leyden St, Magnolia St, Olive St, E 166th Place, Oneida St, E 162nd Ave.
- DAY 11: Tuesday September 8th – E 165th Place, Kearney Ct, Leyden St, Eagle Shadow Ave, Niagara St, E 165th Court.
- DAY 12: Wednesday September 9th – Eagle Shadow Ave, Colorado Blvd.
Chip Seal
Chip seal is a pavement preservation treatment that combines asphalt and fine aggregate to create a protective surface. This treatment helps extend pavement life and protect the road from further deterioration.
Chip seal work for the 2026 program is complete.
