Construction Management Team

Construction Inspection Services is responsible for:

Evaluating and resolving citizen complaints through service requests
Inspecting construction on all county Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects and development projects to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications
Maintaining testing records and daily progress records and reviewing contractor invoices for work completed and payment
Providing construction material testing and soil analysis observations
Ensuring all Adams County Roadways meet project specifications and design intent upon the completion of all roadway construction projects

Management Services is responsible for:

Coordinating with the Engineering Section on design, cost estimates, and construction phasing
Providing project management on all CIP, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and county projects
Coordinating with the CIP Engineering division to Advertise Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects; reviewing bids, budgets, and contract negotiations; managing outside resources as needed; billing and reporting
Directing utility coordination between Adams County and all utility companies within Adams County
Contracting of Utility Notifications Center of Colorado locates
Ensuring all construction within existing rights of way is reviewed and permitted and conforms to all current construction standards
Overseeing the transportation asset management system
Recommending subdivision acceptance to the Board of County Commissioners
Reviewing and making recommendations to the annual departmental budget
Reviewing construction, subdivision, drainage, and over-lot grading plans
