Ongoing Artist Opportunities
Aams County Parks, Open Space & Cultural Arts engages artists in many aspects of our work. From rotating galleries, to event po-ups and art integration, our goal is to put art front and center in the lives of Adams County residents.
If you are an artist interested in getting involved with Adams County, whether it be showcasing your work at Taza Gallery and Coffee House, popping up at a community event, or another of the many ways to engage the residents of Adams County, you’ve come to the right place! Take a look at some of our previous opportunities for artists, or submit your portfolio information below to share you work with Cultural Arts staff.
Artist Selection Panels
Shape the arts in your community: Consider joining a project-specific artist selection panel! Artist Selection Panel members play a critical role in the public art process by helping identify thought-provoking artists who speak to a place, represent our diverse communities, add vitality to Adams County’s vast environments, and enrich and diversify the county’s art collection.
Arts & Culture Commission
The Adams County Arts & Culture Commission acts as an advisory board to the county’s arts and culture initiative to place public art in county facilities as part of the Percentage for the Arts Program. Members of the commission generously volunteer their time to help create unique experiences that celebrate the residents of Adams County.
Adams County Cultural Council
The Adams County Cultural Council recommends SCFD funding to the Tier III organizations that serve Adams County. In 2025, more than $2.6 million was distributed to 91 organizations.
Community Events
In addition to four large-scale community events held each year at Riverdale Regional Park, the Adams County Cultural Arts team brings artists to neighborhood, town, and community festivals across Adams County.
