Information Technology & Innovation
The Information Technology & Innovation (ITi) Department empowers county operations by driving innovation, enhancing efficiency, delivering service excellence, and fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Through strategic partnerships and forward-thinking solutions, ITi creates lasting value and strengthens community relationships.
We work closely with the Board of County Commissioners and elected officials to:
- Evaluate proposals, budgets, technical plans, and strategies developed by the service provider in collaboration with the governance committee.
- Develop and monitor policies and procedures for the safekeeping, maintenance, and repair of county-owned computer assets.
- Assess the adequacy of security measures protecting access to and integrity of county data.
- Measure the effectiveness of ITi initiatives in achieving strategic goals and objectives.

Our Divisions
Aligns IT services with agency goals, identifies and implements technology initiatives, and ensures successful project delivery. This division also manages vendor contracts, delivers user training, and drives continuous service improvements.
Designs secure, accessible data architecture and develops business intelligence tools for actionable insights. It ensures application reliability through DevOps, enforces data governance, and leads digital transformation efforts across the county.
Develops enterprise architecture to align IT infrastructure with business needs. This division ensures network reliability, manages cloud services, and deploys AI and automation to improve operations. It also explores emerging technologies through pilot projects.
Acts as the primary point of contact for users, managing incidents, service requests, and knowledge resources to ensure efficient issue resolution. It provides timely updates and escalates complex issues to ensure swift resolution.
Safeguards IT systems by managing incident response, enforcing access controls, and protecting data. This division conducts audits, designs security architectures, and integrates risk mitigation strategies to defend against cyber threats.

The Information Technology and Innovation (ITI) Department leads the charge in modernizing government operations through secure, scalable, and future-ready technology.
