Public Assistance (Food, Cash and Medical Assistance) Services

Talk with a Community Support Associate who can provide basic case information and/or help you navigate the application process for Medicaid, SNAP/food assistance, or cash assistance (TANF/Adult Financial programs).

Please note, you must be the head of household or an authorized representative on the case to receive case information.

Child Support Services

Child Support Services strive to put children first by working with parents and caretakers to ensure their basic needs are met financially.

To Schedule an Appointment:
No appointment necessary, walk-ins are welcome. When you enter the building (main entrance), go past the front desk and turn right. Child Support Services is located down the hall, going towards the orange wall, on the left-hand side.

Veteran Services

The Adams County Veteran Service Office provides support, free of charge, to veterans and their dependents for claims including:

  • Compensation Claims Process
  • Education Benefits
  • Non-Service-Connected Pension
  • Service-Connected Disability
  • Survivor Benefits
  • VA Healthcare Enrollment
  • Burial Benefits

Please bring the following to all appointments:

  • Discharge or separation papers (DD214 or equivalent)
  • Medical evidence (doctor and hospital reports) from any non-VA facilities

Aurora Service Center Services Update

Beginning January 1, 2026, Human Services programming will no longer be available at the Aurora Service Center location.

This includes services such as:

  • EBT Card Issuance – EBT card issuance will stop on Dec. 30 at noon
  • Employment & Workforce Programs

Please note, this location is designated as a multilingual significant office for our Migrant Seasonal Farmworker (MSFW) program. There are staff on site who are experienced and fluent in the languages needed to assist MSFW customers. Co-located at this location is Rocky Mountain SER, a Human Services WBC partner and local provider for the National Farmworker Jobs Program.
