The Investigations Section investigates allegations of fraud and violations of government assistance programs. The Recovery Section is involved in the recovery of money lost to actual fraud and substantiated violations of government program assistance.

Services Provided
Investigations takes referrals and/or answers questions concerning suspected fraud and government assistance program violations. Recovery answers any client questions regarding the process of recovering the money lost to fraud or government assistance program violations.
How to Make a Payment
Make a Payment at the Human Services Kiosk:
Located in the lobby of the Human Services Center, you can make a payment in person at the kiosk. You will not be required to pay any additional fees when using the kiosk.
Make a Payment at the Human Services Drop Box:
Payments can be made via the locked, yellow drop box located in front of the Human Services Center building or in the self-service area of the lobby. You will need to provide your full name, case number ID, and social security number.
Make a Payment Online:
You can create an account or login to your existing account. You will need to select a state and agency to make your payment. Make sure you choose “Colorado” and “Adams County Department of Human Services.” Select from the payment options in the portal and enter all related case information. Case information required to make a payment includes your full name, date of birth, case number, claim number, social security number. If you don’t know your case or claim number, please call 720.523.2125.
Select the payment amount and payment method. Once completed, print or save your receipt for your records.
