Food Bank of the Rockies
Food Bank of the Rockies provides food and necessities to people in need through different programs and teaming up with Hunger Relief Partners. Food Bank of the Rockies serves over 383,000 people across Adams County.
Make a Monetary Donation
Every $1 donated helps Food Bank of the Rockies provide the equivalent of 3 meals for your neighbors facing hunger. Food Bank of the Rockies is able to purchase food at 54% less than retail costs.
Make a Small Food Donation
Food Bank of the Rockies accepts small personal food donations at their designated distribution centers during their regular operation hours – Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Items we accept include shelf-stable/non-perishable items Here are some examples of items that make great donations:

- Chili baked beans
- Soup

Community Food Drives & Funding Campaigns
You can donate at community food drives across Adams County.
Servicios de La Raza is launching the “I got your six” or “I got your back” fundraising campaign to raise funds for emergency food. Servicios can feed a neighbor losing their SNAP benefits for $6/day. Servicios is one of the only food pantries in Colorado that specializes in distributing healthy food items that center on culture. We have seen lines down the block day-after-day. Won’t you have someone’s six and donate $6 today?
Join Community Reach Center for our Gather & Give Food Drive & Resource Fair on Nov. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.! This event brings the community together to give generously and connect with local partners offering food resources and support. Check out the details below! Located at Community Reach Center, 1870 W. 122nd Ave. Ste. 100 Westminster, CO 80234. Bring nonperishable food items to donate and meet local partners sharing food and support resources.
Volunteer
Food Bank of the Rockies
There are multiple opportunities to volunteer at the Food Bank of the Rockies. They provide training, a safe environment and community-based fun. You can sign up as an individual or a group.
Volunteer at a Local Food Bank
Local food banks need support from you. Reach out to your local food bank or pantry to learn about what opportunities they have to volunteer.
Growing Home is looking for 20 volunteers to help Monday-Friday with various roles. Those interested can learn more and get started!
Good Shepherd Food Pantry needs 10+ volunteers as well as folks who can volunteer their pick-up truck and drive on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Email Good Shepherd to get involved.

Host a Food Drive – Virtual & Physical
Food Bank of the Rockies will support you or your organization in hosting your own food drive. You can host a virtual food drive that collects monetary donations or a physical food drive.
If you are interested in hosting a physical food drive, Food Bank of the Rockies can provide branded food drive boxes, food pick up, event promotion, and more if the event is approved.
Become an Advocate
1 in 7 adults in Adams County experience food insecurity. As an Adams County resident, your voice is important. Feeding Colorado partners with agencies to advocate at the front lines of food insecurity. You can support by advocating for programs and policies that address the many factors that can contribute to food insecurity in Adams County.
