Special Notice for Attorneys Only

To file a foreclosure with the Public Trustee there is an $800 deposit fee collected at the time of filing unless the original principal or the outstanding principal balance, whichever is lesser is lesser is over $500,000, then the deposit is 1/16 of 1% plus the $800 deposit fee.

If you correspond with the Public Trustee’s office via email regarding a foreclosure action, please use the following address: eForeclosures@adamscountyco.gov.

Please indicate in the subject line the foreclosure case number and the nature of your request or the information you desire (such as Continuance, Deed Req, etc.)

Any Attorney filing a foreclosure in Adams County must be licensed in the state of Colorado.
