A total of 1,000 signatures from electors eligible to vote within the county district or political subdivision for which the officer is to be elected, a requirement outlined by 1-4-801 (2)(a), C.R.S.

The results from the review of the petition are as follows:

  • Total number of signatures submitted for review: 2,762
  • Total number of signatures accepted: 1,553

The petition process involves circulating a written petition to other eligible voters and collecting their signatures in support of candidacy. Unaffiliated candidates must be nominated by petition. Affiliated candidates may be nominated by petition, in addition to or as an alternative to the assembly process.

DeAguero will be on the ballot with Democratic candidate designated by the party assembly, Tyler Quick.
