Adams County Celebrates Opening of Adams Café at Human Services Center

April 10th, 2026

Adams County launched Adams Café with a ribbon cutting ceremony today in the Human Services Center, 11860 Pecos St., Westminster, to create a welcoming, community-centered dining experience.

Operated in partnership with the Hispanic Restaurant Association, Adams Café offers fresh, high-quality food options and catering services that serve both visitors to the Human Services Center and the broader community. Adams Café provides catering services to organizations across the county, blending traditional culinary techniques with modern innovation to deliver memorable dining experiences.

This collaboration supports local Hispanic-owned culinary businesses while enhancing the experience of staff, residents, and visitors to the Human Services Center.

“It’s always such a pleasure to partner with nonprofits like the Hispanic Restaurant Association on initiatives that make a positive impact on our community,” said Julie Duran Mullica, Chair of the Adams County Board of Commissioners. “In addition to providing a convenient dining option for our staff and visitors, the café provides training for the next generation of culinary professionals.”

Adams Café also supports workforce development by offering food safety training and skill-building opportunities for residents pursuing careers in the food industry.

In addition, Adams Café demonstrated its commitment to community care and well-being by donating pre-prepared meals to support families during the annual North Pole Gift Shop event hosted by the Human Services department last December, helping ensure a warm and welcoming experience during the holiday season.

Adams Café is accessed by taking the elevator in the lobby to the third floor of the Human Services Center and turning to the left. The café is open 8 a.m.–2 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information on menu and services available, visit adams.cafe.
