Adams County Poet Laureate Open Mic

Join Adams County Poet Laureate Aerik Francis for the first open mic of their residency! Poets of all ages, skill levels and abilities are invited to Manos Sagrados in Aurora to share their original poetry on stage in this supportive community space.

In addition to the open mic, celebrated poet and author D.L. Cordero takes the stage for a special performance.

Not performing? Come out to support local artists and enjoy an evening of inspiration, creativity, and conversation.

All ages are welcome! This event is free of charge and will be hosted in English. No registration is required to attend.

Open Mic Details

  • Sign-up will be in person at the event.
  • A limited number of open mic slots are available on a first come, first served starting at 6 p.m.
  • Open Mic begins at 6:30 p.m.
  • Poets are welcome to perform in any language.
